When a traveller request and property fit, the owner can send a specific private offer with the property, dates, price and an expiry time.
1
Owner chooses the offer
The price may be lower than, equal to, or up to 20% above the traveller's stated budget.
2
Traveller reviews the property and price
The traveller can see the offered property and decide whether the offer is worth considering.
3
The offer expires automatically
One offer is allowed per property/request. Once sent, the price is final and the traveller sees a live countdown.

AT A GLANCE
What this means.
The traveller is never required to accept an offer.
For the $6 refund promise, an offer must otherwise match the request and be within 10% of the traveller's stated budget.
An owner can still offer between 10% and 20% above budget, but that higher offer does not count as qualifying for the $6 refund promise.
Contact details and the exact property address remain protected during the private offer stage.
Pending offers do not reserve inventory. Acceptance creates the booking commitment.
Offer expiry is automatic and carries no cancellation penalty. A voluntary withdrawal is different and may blackout that property for the requested dates.
